The flimsy clasps break and she gets loose and this obviously puts her in danger. I am a quite thrilled with the quality, good looks, and ease of use this collar provides. Collar was good quality. Ended up being too wide for my dog so I ordered another one that was only an inch wide, but not because this was different then specified.  If you have a bigger dog larger than 60 pounds I’d say I would think it will work fine for you.  Quality was great just too wide for my dog. 5 - Amazon Customer Absolutely love this for my BIG baby I LOVE this collar for my dog. She is a 98 pound hound dog that was growing out of collars. The one can fit any big dog, it’s great! She seems so comfortable in it and as soon as I put it on, she acted like it was nothing! I love the handle it has on it also. As a hound dog she reacts quickly to things and having the handle for extra stability, it’s great!! I love how you can basically personalize the collar too. You can buy velcro patches and stick them on there. Maybe for you dog a “don’t pet” patch and so on. I bought this collar for my GSD. I have two that are 9 months old. They are in this neck grabbing stage. I also bought a black one for the other pup. They are wide enough that they can’t grab each other’s neck. I have 7 GSD’s in total. The collar also has an easy to grab handle, which is a plus. Just wish it came in different sizes. Our first one was missing a piece. I liked it so much that I got one for our dane puppy obviously it's was able to size down for her but she isn't not wearing it daily till she gets bigger. The velcro makes it so much easier to adjust to fit her and will definitely come in handy as she grows! I read other reviews before purchasing that claimed that the D ring was a little weak and was not recommended for puppies or dogs who are not 100% leash trained and/or pull but we have not had a problem with it and it feels VERY sturdy and strong. I will be purchasing another collar in the near future for our big shepherd! 5 - INGRID MADOO Tough but Girly collar Love the collar and it’s extra handle but the only flaw is the black metal buckle fades and chipped the black off so you can see the discoloration. The material is tough and is chlorine safe as my girl loves to jump in the pool a lot ... I bought the leash as well and highly recommend it together. The bungee effect of Leah keeps dog at heal position with an extra handle and has a seat belt buckle to keep them safe on car rides 5 - Adam Safer for Dogs I grabbed the 2" thick versions and they are working great. The grab handles are awesome if your dog likes to compete for who can get through the door first. I loved the pink color and the American flag on it. The handle is a clever addition. The collar is awesome. Could use a little more reflective material. Besides that it’s a decent collar. It is Velcro wrap around with the metal buckle to hold it together. It’s not like a standard collet that you adjust and buckle. You size it with the Velcro then you adjust the strap that holds one side of the buckle to attach to the other. Fit well, my husband re adjusted it to get it to fit much better, everything velcros and can be switched around which is nice. She would slip out of her other color much easier. Purchased the pink version mainly for my 95lbs St Bernard X German Shepherd. I tried it on my 59lbs husky mix, and it fit her perfectly as well. I havent had it long, but it seems extremely well made. Love that you can add a personalized patch with your dogs info, or anything you want. Handle is great for dogs still in training. I will update this review if I have an issues, but overall this collar appears to be extremely well made and durable. Love the thickness. I enjoy the handle,   since we’ve had fireworks it’s been a chase around the house to get them to   go potty, so the handle has been extremely helpful. Seeing the comments on   the D rings, I will likely either use a good carabiner or grenade ring   instead. I previously had just a cheap   1” wide collar and was looking for a thicker one that would not dig into his   neck so much when grabbed (I don’t grab it often but he seems to have a   sensitive trachea because when I did grab it he’d cough). Plus I wanted a   more tactical look. I think it suits him ;). I’d say this collar accomplishes   both. It is super sturdy and I don't worry at all about the buckle coming   apart. The paint on the metal leash attachment point is starting to chip   after about a week though. I also saw in other reviews that’s a failure point   of the collar but I walk my dog with a harness so I haven’t really tested   that. I put his ID tags on it and I think that’s when it chipped.Also, it’s   thicker than anticipated so that could be a good or bad thing. My dog did   need to adjust to it a little bit since he was going from a small flimsy   collar to a thick, wide one, but he did get used to it after a few   days.Overall I’m happy with it, especially for the reasonable price compared   to other “tactical” collars. I   underestimated the reasoning skill of the breed: the Mal playing with the   (also Malinois) dog wearing the collar recognized the handle (I use the   handle in drive building exercises). While playing chewed off the elastic & clip holding handle down   then pulled collar off With the flag attached. Once off, she chewed the handle off. TOTAL   TIME COLLAR WORN by dog #2? 15 minutes. I’ve taken it off and will cut   handle complete off.I still like the collar very much, I simply won’t leave   it on the dogs when in the yard. The only reason for 4 star review is handle   isn’t stiff enough.
